The French Finance Association (AFFI) brings together more than 550 finance professionals in research, teaching and practice of financial activities, interested in financial management, financial theory and its applications.
Article 2 of the association's statutes specifies that AFFI's objectives are:
to develop communication and exchanges between its members in order to contribute to ensuring the best progress in science and financial management,
to contribute to improving the quality of teaching and practice of financial management,
to promote, support and disseminate financial research,
to promote the national and international reputation of teachers and researchers in the field of finance,
to develop exchanges of knowledge between France and abroad.
Article 5 indicates that its means of action consist of:
conferences, seminars, working groups and in particular the annual conference of its members,
actions carried out by the managers and members of the association within the framework of the statutes,
publications and bulletins that it adopts as dissemination organs,
financial research materials and support.
