Thorsten Beck is the Director of the Florence School of Banking and Finance and Chair in Financial Stability, at the Robert Schuman Centre of Advanced Studies, European University Institute, Florence. He is Co-editor of the Journal of Banking and Finance and member of the Advisory Scientific Committee of the European Systemic Risk Board. He has worked regularly as a consultant among others for the ECB, the BofE, the BIS, the IMF, the Inter-American Development Bank and the Asian Development Bank.

Viral V. Acharya is C.V. Starr Professor of Economics in the Finance Dept. at NYU-Stern. Viral was a Deputy Governor at the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) from 2017 to 2019. He has been an Academic Advisor to the Chicago, Cleveland, NY, Philadelphia Feds and board of governors. He is a (conditional) member of the Climate-related Financial Risk Advisory Committee (CFRAC) of the Financial Stability Oversight Council. Viral co-edited Restoring Financial Stability: How to Repair a Failed System, 2009.
